The Rolex Cosmograph Daytona is a high-end luxury watch that was first introduced in 1963. It is named after the Daytona International Speedway in Florida, where Rolex is the official timekeeper. The Cosmograph Daytona features a chronograph movement, which allows the watch to measure elapsed time, as well as a tachymeter scale on the bezel, which can be used to calculate speed based on distance traveled. The watch also has a distinctive design, with a round stainless steel case, a blue and black dial, and three subdials for the chronograph function.
